Lotsa talky here, cuz some of these ideas are a bit subtle and conterintuitive so it take a little talky to 'splain. Hope this wrap up helps you remember:
Points...
* Triple steps are slow (in terms changing your weight)
* You can feel the difference between step-steps, and triple-steps (and thereby extend/change simple patterns)
* Committing to your steps makes for better leading/following
* Good frame starts with good posture
* Connection comes from bodies moving counter to each other (away = rubber band, toward = spring)
* 1. Leader goes, 2. Connection goes, 3. Follower goes
* The more you use your legs, the less you have to use you arms, and the better things tend to feel.
These points of course mean nothing in isolation here and are ridiculously reductive and unhelpful outside of the context of the hour and a half that we spent working on them in class so if you are watching this having not taken the class, feel free to enjoy, but don't quote me on this stuff. -P
