Falling Inside The Black [Dark!Merlin]

\O/ My first Dark Merlin viiid *flails*
And I basically failed at it. No, seriously, it's not that I don't like it, because I'm really satisfied with how it came out, but it's not REALLY Dark!Merlin. Or not yet.
I guess it's more Merlin 'falling inside the black', I mean, he's not completely dark yet, but a lot of things are contributing to his falling. I used a lot of motives: the first one is his magic itself, I portrayed Merlin here like a drug addict, addicted to his magic and growing more and more incapable of controlling it. That's why I showed three scenes where his emotions go out of control (anger, sadness and fear) and things explode or fall or simply go out of control; because his magic it's slowly taking control over him. And that's the reason why I put in a lot of scenes with the golden eyes in relevance, to show just THE magic. Another reason is Arthur's love for Gwen (you want me to make a Merlin video without the slash? è.è), Merlin is in love with Arthur but spots Arthur kissing Gwen; you'll guess this is a big push in the direction of the black. Of course the fact that he has to hide his magic, and even feeling so addicted to it and finding pleasure in using magic, he can't most of the time.
I shoved Nimueh in using her as a aid in Merlin's downfall, because she tries- and succeeds-to bring him to her side, and he kind of ... falls in love with her? I don't know, I guess he considers her a savior in some way. And there's Mordred too :D (mostly because I like the creepy kid) Mordred is more the proof of what Merlin could do with his powers if he just uses them in that way (read: hurt people and stuff).
I threw in some Merlin/Morgana too. Their relationship is more like 'OHYEAH, let's be evil together!'. The poisoning mostly happened, but just because despite the fact that it makes me cry every time I watch, I'm addicted to vidding that scene ù-ù
The last push Merlin gets in his falling is Arthur's death (yeah, folks, I killed him for the greater good. It hurt my heart). Merlin rushes to his side and, upon realizing he's dead and he couldn't save him, falls. When he opens his eyes, his magic has finally taken over.
Big description, I know xD I think I'll make more Dark!Merlin videos, I like them :3 they're sick just the way I roll XD

This video was short and sweet! Intense! I love how you flashed all these meanings in! Now I don't support Arthur and Merlin as a couple; I'd prefer the boys were in love with a girl, but other than that, great story idea! ^^ I like how his magic is so powerful that it can so easily become an addiction, and I like how Nimueh offers him a "friendship"! Good job! ^^
