I was lucky enough to see them at the Star Bar in Atlanta in the mid-'90s, and seeing them live confirmed for me that they are THE BEST DAMNED FINNISH SURF BAND IN THE COSMOS! When they were signing my CDs after the show, I asked them if they surfed the Scandinavian fjords on surfboards carved from glacial ice, and Matti Pitsinki said, 'Yes--yes, we DO!" They do the best cover of Hitchcock's "Psycho" theme ever--with a surf edge!

they split up in autumn, and i'm seriously fucked up. and never did and will see them live. yea, just the best band ever.

ACtually they are coming to the US later this year on their farewell tour. Sadly, they have decided to call it a day.
