Any idea on how to actually remove the screen? I want to frontlight mine using an sp and I can't figure out how to remove the lcd screen.

@tjetjj open it up if you can and clean it out or if you cant open it use a wd-40 with the long spray nozzle thing that worked for me

I don't blame him for changing his voice...the repair business is so cut throat.
I used to manage a repair shop. I have an idea he may be an authorized repair dealer and so doesn't want anyone to know who he is.

instead of takng the time and money to get the special screwdriver just use a small flat head screwdriver, it works just the same!, i have taken apart my gb pocket and my gf's gb color that way........just a lil hint :)

takes no time to buy one on ebay.. and they're only like $3 shipped. :) either way... Since i was doing game boy mods daily it made sense for me to have the right tools.
