Classic Game Room reviews YARS' REVENGE for Atari 2600

Classic Game Room season 1. July 28, 2000. Review of YARS' REVENGE for the Atari 2600 Video Computer System. This is a classic on the VCS console, this is Yar's Revenge. You pilot Yars around in space and fight the evil, deceptive and ill tempered Quitile. Can you destroy the Zorlon cannon before it destroys you? Hide in the neutral zone, dodge the curser of doom and kick ass at this amazing retro old school classic arcade style video game. The gameplay is rock solid, the storyline is fantastic and the footage of this game will make you want to run out and add this Atari cartridge to your collection. Will we ever see an Atari movie about Yars' Revenge? It would be the best science fiction movie ever made and should be an upcoming film with a great trailer due to be released sometime in the near future. Assuming it was made well of course. Yars' Revenge is a classic and you should own it, period. Will there ever be a remake of this game? Will it be remade in HDTV graphics for Xbox Live Arcade on the 360 XBLA? Will Yars' Revenge come out on the PS2 Playstation 3 console? How about the Wii or Wii Fit, you could run around on the Wii Fit as a Yar vs. the Quotile. We know this game was on the Color Gameboy but we'd rather have it on a next gen system. Classic Game Room was the FIRST classic video game review show on the Internet in 1999. Classic Game Room HD marked the return of the series in 2008. The original Classic Game Room reviewed Atari, NES, Nintendo, Sega Genesis, Dreamcast and Playstation... too bad they didn't get to Xbox 360, PS3, PS2 or Wii. Now Classic Game Room HD is covering the new systems.

Those tiny microphones are almost invisible. If you mouths hadn't moved to the dubs, hinting some kind of vocal communication, I'd have bet you were communicating via brain waves, and would NEVER have noticed those almost invisibly tiny microphones!

A remake is on its way to X.B.L.A,it looks promising,sort of a mix between Panzer Dragoon style rail shooter & traditional scrolling 2d shooter.
