@PipeManChuck Uhhhh, the reason we even have the so-called "oldest" mss, Vaticanus and Siniaticus, is because the early church knew these were heretical and no good and didn't use them. The reason we don't have the mss the AV is based upon is cause they were handled so much they wore away. They were papyrus. Grass. Two manuscripts ( Vaticanus and Sinaiticus) were used by Wescott and Hort to invent a Greek text used in all the corrupt versions. They also oppose the inspiration of Holy Bible, and usually substitute a revamped German Higher Criticism for believing the sound Biblical doctrine of Scriptural preservation verbatim by the LORD.
