met someone in 1993 during thanksgiving vacation i was only 19 . went to see her around new year long distance relationship. was in love all the way. cried on the car drive back home. I had finally fell in love. was playing this song in my orange Mercury Lynx. Ended up moving back home and marrying her. didnt work out got divorced 7 years later. but i still like this song.

@stormtown7 Since then, Jason and Matt both are in my Social Media network. While I've had some great conversations with Matt over wine and music, Jason never responded to my salutations (albeit only 1). Back in the day, it was Jason who was nice and Matt who was kinda distant (but not in a cruel way). It's funny how tides turn.

I had some connections at Atlantic Records, back in the day, and got to hang out with them in 1992 at Rocky's in Charlotte, NC- Lizard tour. it was monumental to me- but not them, of course- ha. I got to hang out with them again in Nov, 95 in Hickory NC. Matt Kramer was gone by this time. Phil had the personality of a tree, but everyone else- including Jason- was super nice. We hung out for quite a long time.

@thelogicmusic Yes Jason was the driving force behind Saigon kick, and the primary songwriter, which inevitably caused there demise.. I am actually friends with every originally member, and went to School with Tom Defile, and Hung out with Matty and Phil.

as far as production is concerned, they would have been better off having Michael Wagner produce all of the Albums. as the first one sounded and still sounds the best.
