  • Clay cup #12 - So, will we be having wine, hot cocoa, or a fruit salad in this cup? I'd like to see a glaze on the inside and rim that dribbles down all the way to the base... leaving the outside raw clay... this is really fun coming up with ideas. By the time you glaze everything I'll have forgotton what I've written. Janice

  • @janicethepotter You are so funny...I can see exactly the word picture you are trying to convey! Thanks sharing your glazing insights..duly noted!

  • You're so tender and gentle with your clay. You look like you're bathing a newborn. When I start putting videos up we'll see a little rougher treatment. haha

Was your goblet indentation to try to ease some of the stem thickness? I can't believe you didn't have trimming to do on it. I always *always* have a little thickness to pare down before I'm happy. :D Might be that tender vs. rough thing.

  • @ThatLynnGirl Yes, I was a little worried about the cross section between the base. The stem and foot should be fine though. Youdanxxx hasn't had challenges with his and the few I've made in the past did fine as well. I slow fire, and with the slow dry it "should" be okay...let's hope! ;)

  • Nice:) I'm looking forward to your videos each day.

  • @Alyzabeth01 Thanks for watching Alyzabeth :) Let me know if there is anything you'd like to see or suggestions you may have...I'm always open!
