As a video doesn't exist of the Diva's performing this, I thought I'd make a slideshow. I think track shows just how great and versatile the final lineup was. Vocal fireworks that knok the competeition for six! This should have been a much bigger selling album but by that time Motown had lost it's grip on most things. Anyway, enjoy! Stoned Love, Steve.

  • This song should have been included in the 70's anthology. This song drips sex!! The three ladies, each, added their own sex appeal and voice to it. Scherrie with her big voice, Mary with her jazzy sexy alto, Susaye with her crisp clean soprano. Just SUPREMELY DIVINE!!!!

  • I like this lineup the B-E-S-T ! Scherrie has a very SHARP voice ! Susaye can hit those HIGH notes ! I 'am so sorry they disbanded..........

  • @hazelman Absolutely! This is one of their finest recordings -- ever.

  • I can't imagine any one else singing this and it still sounding the way it does. This is one of the best in my opinion! Was there ever any 12" versions from the 70's albums?

  • had forgotten this. fantastic ! gonna dig out the vinyl it's somewhere here!

  • this is my favorite song from the MSS lp. should have been a single[imo].great vocals. the cd coming may 17

  • sampel used by O.S.T.R. Zobacz Co Mówią (O.C.B.) 2009

    GREAT !!!! ;)

  • I dont know who made this video, thanks for including my photo with Susaye. That photo was taken at the Royal Hawaiian Supper Club in Virginia, Susaye's debut show as a Supreme......Norwin

  • @br942 I agree...MSS was probably the best overall LP that the Mary/Scherrie Supremes did together, and some of the best stuff the Holland Brothers had done in a long time...I think, just one more album would have been even more masterfull..."Sweet Dream Machine", "You're My Driving Wheel" (amazing piano and arrangement), "Come Into My Life"...these songs were like a Supremes Opus!!, and the rest of the album fits around them so nicely...I still have 2 copies of this album and a turntable!!

  • @hazelman i say the same thing whenever i hear this song... i have the 70's anthology & the greatest hits & rare classic, i felt a lil cheated when i heard this(LOL)

  • Vocally the Supremes were at their best with this line up. I thought maybe Motown would take the girls back to the top. So many unfortunate elements got in the way and killed the group off.

  • Wow this song is hot !! This song should of been a 3rd or 4th hit after Let Yourself Go and You are the Heart of Me. Such a damn shame, what the hell Mr. Gordy ? Too busy promoting his girlfriend Dirty Diana but don't have the time to check and help promote These talented ladies. I love this song. Yeah this should of been on the 70's anthology cd. Nice Work Sherrie, Mary, and Susaye. You go ladies !!!
