You are correct, the train is pressurized just not that of a commercial jet. The train was a very interesting way of transportation, my family and two others took the train when it first opened, and do not regret one minute of our trip. If we were to travel to tibet again i would love to try the bus though.

How do you know the convoy you captured is for repression??? I don't see any military personnel on the trucks.

a chinese military expert 戴旭 (dai xu) said in a lecture that advanced bomb was found at this railway.

Thanks for great videos, and dispelling some of the mystery and ignorance.
They are pumping air in the cars ?

@AlexisS1985 Good question. I think they pump some additional air into the train, but I
don't believe the train is as pressurized as a commercial jet. There is no smoking permitted; I've read the reason for that is the enhanced oxygen level in the cars raises the risk for combustion. However, I think another reason may be this showcase for Chinese engineering is still too nice a place to pollute with stinky cigarette smoke. Each compartment also has a tube that dispenses extra oxygen if needed.

Just because a military expert says an "advanced" bomb was found doesn't make it so.

Why the Chinese Govt does not allow picture-taking as the train crossed over the bridge? What's the rationale for that?

@minghan05 I think this is a relic of communist paranoia, which might have had some security value a half-century ago. The Soviet Union had the same policy.
Perhaps the notion is that if a saboteur has a good photo of a bridge, he knows just where to plant a bomb to destroy it. (Think of "Bridge on the River Kwai.") With precision satellite surveillance these days, I fail to see why a photo or video of a bridge is of any value save to the tourist who shot it. (Thanks for watching my video!)
