well, it 's sad that asus had made a compromised design(epu version and later gen mobo) that without floppy slot to meet northern american consumer who are totally loser of being windows 7 lover. to be honest, i like old fashion way computing because these human interface and smart touch really driving me nut.... not to mention you can never install a floppy in windows 7....floppy is the reason why ppl stick with pc than on mac and windows 7 make it no different than mac now.

yeah just make sure dont install via audio driver and you are gtg :)

the original p5kpl-am is the best but later epu/se/ps version screwed its reputation :(

the only few board i know that still support floppy disc drive :)

sucks? unless you want to have sli/crossfire config or else this is good enough. and audio from via is crappy indeed...however i never install via driver but instead i install intell's original ich7 driver that contain default audio driver. it solve the game crash issue that cause from via's audio driver failure :)

PD: This motherboard is crap as hell,if you're planing to edit music,or play hard games,do not go for it,if you just want to use internet and watch movies,it's 100% affordable and suitable,

same mobo this is good very durable, i tend to bend the pcb of mine but still working,

the problem is the FSB bottleneck
