My topic was "How Organized Religion hinders the progression of society"

I am not the greatest public speaker and looked down too much. I also talk somewhat quite in this speech, because hey lets face it, it was a touchy subject. I received a B on this one and wish i would have done an overall better job.

religion is a joke...it scares me...people will sit there and tell u dinosaurs existed 4k-6k years ago...ok so god is all knowing..knows what is going to happen he loves us and wants everything to work out good for us thats is claimed fact i used to be a christian...anyway.....here comes the joke...god made adam an eve..made the devil....he knows everything but yet put the tree of life and satan there to temp herAND THEN GET PISSED FOR HER SINwhy would he get pissed if he already knew SUPRISE!!

@FerralBeard You didn't understand what i was getting at. God gives us rules to keep us from hurting ourselves. Example: He says not to have sex before marriage because he doesn't want us all to have unwanted pregnancies and STDs. What if our progression becomes our downfall? War and poverty today is a result of sin.
