Amtrak April 5th, 1987 Norcross, Ga

Another night at Norcross. The kids are all there but not in the picture. It seems after my daughter and I started meeting Amtrak at the park there, all of the kids in the park would show up every night just to wait for the Crescent to arrive. This evening a Southern MOW train follows Amtrak about 1 minute later. Just enough time to have taken down my tripod. lol

Excellent vid! Seems like yesterday the F40s and Heritage cars were everywhere, now it's the bland GE genesis "P-somethings". The sweet sounding K5La horns are gradually being replaced by updated Nathan horns that sound similar but nowhere as melodious.

very nice!! my uncle used to drive amtrak and we'd go riding with him in the engine when we were kids.... back in the 80's and early 90's. great horn, great footage.
