  • All if you guys are right about the link between Lecter some of the most notorious serial killers. Thomas Harris researched on minds like that Charles Manson, Ted Bundy Ed Gein, Jeffery Dahmer and so fourth.

  • What a great film, Hopkins performance was simply genius. Jodie Foster was amazing too, I remember seeing her in Taxi Driver, such a great actress.

  • I'm 17, but Anthony Hopkins is and will always be one of my favourite and respected actors. He reminds me of my dad in Legends of the Fall :D

  • and that was almost all of Hopkins’ screen time in a trailer :)

I am still shocked that he won an Oscar for Best Actor in a Leading Role. He had 16 minutes of screen time and wasn’t even that big of a part of the plot. Yes, he’s scary, but i was so disappointed after seeing the movie. Had expected more. Especially from him.

  • love this film, i wouldn't have even considered making the sequel without jodie foster!! i dont like hannibal

  • @chrisverhaagh Actually, the primary inspiration was Robert John Maudsley. Check Wikipedia.

  • god I hate that woman -.-
