Visit our website at http://www.mikesoutfitting.com - This is one of the biggest bears we have ever taken in Alberta, he weighed 450 pounds, his hide squared out at 7 ft 9 inches and he had a Boone and Crockett qualifying score of 21 12/16. It was Clint Proctor from Utah's first ever bow kill, that is why I gave the constant coaching, waiting for the perfect shot. Clint performed flawlessy making a great double lunger. @rgmks black bear meat that is smoked into hams, pepperoni, and sausages is delicious. Just gotta make sure it's cooked thoroughly, and if you can nail one that's been feeding on lots of apples, even better! Makes the meat taste sweet.

I wish it was legal to bait bears in Oregon. Have to try to pattern with trail cams and hope for the best.... Great video, that bear was a lunker...
