Hmmm...Lemax villages remind me of Department 56 Snow Village series very popular in the US. Although, Department 56 have glaze on their pieces, and break the bank to buy (Seriously, some buildings cost $70 USD before tax.) Luckily, the prices drop very fast, due to the very low production run (and how they get "Retired"). Every D56 piece is hand made, painted, and glazed for maximum detail.

my grandmother (who's still alive) has a s*** load of lemax villages and accessories.

When I read 'Starlight Express,' I thought it had to do w/ the musical. XD
This is a bit off topic, but that TOMY Diesel 10 looks different than the one I have (or had; returned it cos it didn't work :-P); do you remember what it came with?

@leokimvideo O scale is twice the size of 00 Scale. It's larger than Lego but smaller than G.
Hey Leo, I just found out most of this train is re-molds of the earlier "Spooky Town Express"

I liked Lemax because of their snow covered pine trees. I'm not a Lemax collector, but I wanted a winter theme on my O Scale layout year round.

@Trainmaster189 from what I have seen the lemax trees are excellent, not sure how they are cost wise compared to model train scale trees which I know can be very costly

Leo - it seems that the caboose is missing a wheel! Did it fall off, or just come with onlythree axles?

@bsquiklehausen one of the axles at the rear are black, and they power the deer
