The Greatest Hustler of all Time

It took a detour of about six hundred miles to meet our friend, "Moves" in a pool hall somewhere in Texas. Moves is a retired player who, as a kid, worked with Titanic Thompson, arguably the greatest hustler of all time. Moves learned all of Thompson's tricks and even practiced them to perfection. "Ty" was as clever as he was skillful and could talk anyone into anything, when given the chance. Recent books have told parts of the Titanic Thompson story but this is a first hand account of the man himself from someone who knew him well and climbed a lot of ladders to help get the money. We've hidden his face so as not to advertise his identity.

Are there any books that show Thompson's work ? I found something on amazon but I'm afraid that like many other books it's just a tribute to the legend, not his detail work.

There IS however a pretty brilliant scam he would do where "Moves" assisted him in sinking IMPOSSIBLE putts for big money, but I don't want to spoil it. I am sure they will include it in one of the upcoming videos.

Thompson was a really great player. If I remember correctly, he was a lefty but would play right handed. Then after beating his opponent right handed, he would offer to play the man for double the money but as a "handicap" Thompson said he would play lefty. His mark, not knowing Thompson was about to play in his strong hand, would foolishly make the bet. More of a hustle than a scam really.
