Do you know any place cheaper than lik-sang or play-asia to import Play-Yan to the US? I noticed they sell it for around $70 whereas the Nintendo site sells it for $40-something but they don't ship outside of Japan.

Well, that's the premium you have to pay when you buy import. Maybe there's an import shop in US which you can get it cheaper?

NICE video man, i think moonshell has better picture but cant seek properly and song is not all that gd. but play yan has a little less picture quality but better audio and seeking skills.

Could you tell me what format you used for your videos, was it dpg and also could you tell me what anime that was LOL, looks good ^^.

I feel the PlayYan delivers better video & audio quality for the simple reason that it is a piece of HARDWARE that's meant to do the job. That said, you can't beat MoonShell's price and you can watch images with it if you'd like.

Moonshell is obviously brighter than the play-yan, but I think the two of them are simply great for a ds system, don't ya think?

that audio comparison is a bit skewed.. I don't think moonshell slaughters the audio that much. Headphone output is a higher ohm-age to power the headphones.. I'm not sure about the play-yan device, but yeah.. It definitely doesn't sound that dirty coming out of my headphones.. Not to mention, you can raise the bitrate of the audio on dpg, I'm not sure If you can do that with the play-yan device.

from my experience I havent had any trouble reading subtitles on the play-yan, as long as your not more than two or three feet away.
