Artisans in La Vallee Jacmel

Magalie and I spent the New Years Eve at La Vallee Jacmel making samples with the artisans. Then the earthquake stroke on January 12. The buyer, Vagabong Vintage, could not order a product he liked a lot... And we could not go to La Vallee because we were too busy trying to salvage our business. It's only during the show in July in Atlanta that we got hold of David from Vagabong Vintage. He placed a great order for those artisans. After the show we went to see them to place the order and work on new samples. This short video shows 2 of them, Jean Lamothe and Seneque Ridore, talking to us while preparing some bamboo and working on samples. It was a wonderful day...
