Ape Smuggling

Investigators claim smugglers have shipped endangered chimpanzees and gorillas from Africa to buyers in the Middle East. They blame governments, airlines and international law enforcement for failing to protect Africa's great apes.

Having worked at Yale University, and having left in June 2000, that the Howard Hughes Medical Institute (HHMI) had an entire floor dedicated to caged primates. The door had a sign for authorized entry only. I was told that the behavior of anyone entering the area had to mimic the researchers, or violent behavior could ensue. There were no windows on that wing that I could see from the door window. I worked as Senior Mechanical Engineer in Facilities. I know where all the animal labs are.

@mirokuxsango538 you are right. It's disgusting how cruel some people are to animals. We share this planet, and as the leading species, it's our duty to take proper care of the diversity of life, especially that which so evidently is *sentient* and has emotion and the capacity to feel and perceive.
