Michael J. Hiscox is the Clarence Dillon Professor of International Affairs at Harvard University. He received his B. Econ. (First Class Honours) from the University of Sydney in 1989 and his Ph.D in Government from Harvard University in 1997. He was Assistant Professor of Political Science at the University of California, San Diego, from 1997 to 2001. From 2001 until 2005 he was the John L. Loeb Associate Professor of the Social Sciences at Harvard.
Professor Hiscox was a Visiting Professor at the US Studies Centre in June 2009.
