I learnt this piece and it took me about a month to get good and a couple more to master. You did well you had a good tempo and played it fairly evenly wich is hard to do

Well, it probably took a couple of months of me just playing around with it off and on, and then I had a two day piano training session that I focused on this piece prior to the recital. It is definitely a great piece, and very rewarding to play!

It is a southern Italian folk dance; I believe when people got bitten by tarentullas, they thought they could rid themselves of the poison by dancing very quickly, hence the quick tempo of the genre.
