Cytribe9a, yeah they are great speakers, I find that they produce quiet an accurate soundstage with a well focused center image. What amplifier are you using with your Focal's?

L4RAR, you will love these speakers, they have such a natural un-aggressive top end with a complementing midrange and defined midbass to complete the package! Have you checked out my car audio pre installation components video!

NM31, thank you for your kind comments. I have heard the 165VR's and yes I was very impressed by them, good for all types of music with an open soundstage to match.

I will be doing a pre-install video outlining my gear, then will follow up with the finished product.

I have these in my car as a front stage, the midbass is awesome, and the tweeters have none of the harshness normally attributed to Focals.

I'd highly recommend these speakers.
