  • @mclarenguy22 It seems like he is lost for words on this programme. I hate it when someone only gets 5 letters and he comments sarcastically. Sometimes the letters just are not capable of making a long word out of. If he is as intelligent as people say he is, he should realise that and not make the contestants feel uncomfotable, which i think he does a lot. Maybe he should listen to what people say and not be so rude.

  • So pompous. I have always found him irritating on the apprentice and this programme is crap with him as presenter.Bring back Des O Connor and Carol Vaudermann. So much better when they done the show. Why doesnt Nick stick with Lord Sugar.

  • @mclarenguy22 I doubt the contestants mind.

  • @BassettReviewer Even if he was joking he can still upset the contestants.

  • Nick Hewer is the only reason why I watch Countdown. He's great on both Apprentice and Countdown.

  • @cohenterry717 He's not being rude,he's just joking.

  • Nick Is a great man, Indluding, the Apprentice, he Is really good on Countdown.

  • @cohenterry717 If he's rude, he's fired.

  • @RoLLWithITOasis1 Yeah i agree with you in so much as Jeff was very good as presenter and had a bit of a laugh as well-which is what you need. Also i have to say that Jeff is brilliant with his knowledge of football and sport in general. It is a shame that he left Countdown and i thought he may have continued a bit longer.

  • @cohenterry717 All the hosts since Richard Whiteley have been crap, apart from Jeff Stelling. Des Lynam was incredibly boring, Des O Connor was ok, but really lacking in long term appeal. Jeff on the other hand had that, and I think he could've carried it on for many years but unfortunately he has his committments to Sky. I love Nick Hewer in The Apprentice, but he isn't a TV presenter, so its not very natural. I hope he adapts to it, but I'm concerned he won't.

  • @TomGreenUK Don't worry. He'll leave in two or three years. ;)
