Because the Shroud of Turin is not an authenticated relic, the correlations between what the Urantia Book says happened to Jesus bodies and certain mysteries related to the Shroud image can be consider a corroboration of the Urantia Book. If anything, given the emerging pattern of corroborations that are emerging with the Urantia Book, this report lends a certain degree of credibility to the Shroud. I too am fascinated by the shroud but in the end it is of little value in our eternal journey.

I think something that inspires people to be willing to believe in Jesus' resurrection while here on earth has significant eternal value. As well, the section of the Urantia Book that one is exposed to when reading the Shroud of Turin Report is especially touching and informative. This report inspires people to read about the rest of Jesus life as it is portrayed in the Urantia Book. Sounds like something of great eternal value to me.

Consider a web search to find the 3-D computer mock-up of the form beneath the shroud. The Urantia Book says Jesus was a magnificent specimen of humanity & the shroud image certainly illustrates this.

The countenance on the man's face seems noble to me, even in death. It's not hard to picture this person as Jesus of Nazareth.

As far as we know, he was the only human whose lifeless body was ever instantly dematerialized. It's no wonder science can't determine how the image got there!
