Yeah.. Give me a corded drill any day of the week.  Cordless just doesn't last or just doesn't have the amperage for the job... The bit was most likely fine just needed a different rpm but you cant really tell from a video the bits condition. Glad you didn't crack anything.

congradulations! Ihave a 125 gallon tank and I"m afraid to do that. So I use an external overflow. Actually it works okay. PS-you are a very hot sexy man!!!

you should have duck taped the other side of the glass so that way the glass thats cut out doesnt fall down, you also should've used plumbers putty to make a pool around where you were drilling that way you have constant cooling unstead of having to spray it with the hose every time =P but all in all nothing went wrong so congrats (:
