  • And this Ugliness is worthy of both Jews and Germans

  • When its time germans will understand that this design is rather a punishment than a functional building , Libeskind wanted to create the ugliest possible thing he could to punish the germans and remind them with their inner ugliness, and in the mean while realize the idea that sooner or later the jews will control all over germany again, that comes by turning the traditional german building into a shadow exterior hiding the dominent role wich is the jewishness ( entrance for the jewish museum)

  • what's with the random shot of chicago at 6:06?

  • Albania was very proud to have Daniel Libeskind here in Tirana!!!! thank you

  • Is there a part 4 of this video?

  • I watched a documentry on this particular building and got to hear what Libeskind had to say about the over meaning of the building. It was very clear that each dead end, the off-center feel of the winddows, the completely black room, save one sliver of light (hope), ect are all done purposfully and beautifully. It is an abstract representation of the content inside and I would love to go visit it one day. Just my opinion..

  • @Feuchtraumfanta

it symbolize only one to me

a slap in the face for every german they have the right to build crap like this in the middle of our capital but we have no right to be sorry for our family part´s who die´s in the war nazi or not

  • @oberstinky I would say that considering the subject matter of the building (a memorial to unimaginable oppression and suffering) that an abstracted, perhaps tortured, and I would imagine chilling space is valid in its brutality? I have never been a particular admirer of Libeskind, however I can see that this particular building (which I am yet to visit) is an extraordinarily moving and perhaps ghostly one. I think we need these works so that we may accept that which we cannot comprehend.

  • Honestly i dont like it

  • This is the very meaning of metaphor in architecture....Simply Amazing
