Choplifter for the Famicom was ported by JALECO in 1985. This is one of shitty games that are well known in Japan.

@BenJabituya Actually it finally found its way to the US by way of pirated emulated systems. Like the ones that have they say 500 NES games.

I've got both the 7800 version and the SMS version. The Master System version beats all the others, hands down!

there are games on the nes which looked better than the sms, so it was really how the company made each port....although i agree in this case the sms version of this looks and plays alot better...i would still choose the nes over the sms because the nes had dozens more classic games...in my opinion the only thing the sms had going for it was the alex kidd and wonder boy series...I was lucky to have both systems as a kid though...

lol laughably bad, the SMS version is leagues ahead of this but of course the Arcade version is king and can be enjoyed very easily under MAME :)

Sega Master System was slightly more powerful than the NES and Atari 7800 yes. Not too much though. Don't mistake a bad game's graphics as a represenitive of a system.

Damn, the Sega master system had to be really advanced because this game looks crap compared to the sega master system

This is one of the worst ports of any game ever. The SMS port is excellent, despite the missing level. It looks almost as good as the arcade and plays just as well.
