Producers of the Comedy Central TV show, "TOSH.O" have invited Scranton Councilwoman Judy Gatelli and regular speaker Ray Lyman to tape an episode in California.

Too bad Unions are absolute shit.
GM had been bullied by the UAW to the point that it couldn't compete anymore. Not because they made shitty cars, but because they couldn't afford their employees anymore. When they asked UAW to make concessions so that they could continue business, the UAW didn't comply. They would rather have all their employees lose their jobs rather than "give in" to GM demands. the UAW essentially "killed the golden goose".

In the face of harsh rebuke and protest, Scranton City Council tonight dropped a measure to raise top elected officials' salaries before it could even be considered.
About 120 people mostly police and firefighters marched outside City Hall before the meeting in protest of the pay raises. Many said they were upset council would even entertain pay raises while public safety unions have not had contracts since 2002.
