i always come back to demon's souls, MGO and socom confrontation. and i have like 18 games...

red dead redemption dont let me down.

I agree, that gamers own Microsoft PC, Microsoft Xbox 360, Mobile iPHONE, Nintendo platforms, and Sony PS3. The only thing helping console sales is that the BIG 3 Microsoft, Nintendo and Sony have what's called OWNED FRANCHISES AND PROPERTIES. Also Microsoft paid a King's or Queen's ransom to Take Two Interactive (distributor), its subsidiaries Rockstar Games (publisher) and Rockstar North (developer) for GRAND THEFT AUTO: THE BALLAD OF GAY TONY being only exclusive on Xbox 360.

  • Better technology doesn't equate to better games. These "my system is better than yours" arguments never go away because there are always immature or poor myopic souls that feel the need to defend their solitary purchase. Fanboys focus on a single system, Gamers usually own half a dozen or so consoles, pc's, etc.

3)Consoles restrict Game Developers creativity,HOW MUCH GAME CONTENTS IS CUT OUT JUST TO FIT THEM INTO CONSOLES?

2)In 5+ years with newer generation consoles, developers with franchise titles release new games for sure there'll be a COLLECTORS RETRO LIBRARY SET(with characters, stages, and etc. that wasn't previously released)***BECAUSE OF CONSOLE LIMITED CAPABILITIES,THUS DEVELOPERS FIGURING:WHAT CUTS WITHOUT SACRAFICING GAMEPLAY***

1)Console games cost more than Windows PC/Mac OS X.

  • what about mw2?

  • 3) 5 years is like 5 times the lifespan of any given PC technology! Moreover, you almost always can never upgrade a single device by it's own (new proc. = new Mobo, which usually needs the latest ......, and so on).

    2&1) I wholeheartedly agree.

    0) The gaming developers already prioritized consoles over PCs.

    -1) *cough*1080p*cough* inb4hookpc2tv

    -2) Affordable, again :)

It's not that I disagree with u, I'm sorta balancing out the pros and cons, whilst deciding shall I go for a PC or a console.

  • then what is YOUR definition?

  • then you clearly dont know what the defination of a "gaming console" is
