Battlefield 3 - Cannister Sniping

Deep into the tank unlock tree, the cannister rounds enable you to fire a tight cluster of steel particles across the field, shotgun style. Quickly alternating this with the tank's main gun will have you ripping apart groups of infantry and light vehicles in short order. The velocity and tight concentration of the shot particles make this weapon deadly at distances that defy casual estimations.

I'm not sure if the autoloader works on the Cannisters or not, but the increase to firepower would indeed be quite substantial.

@foxfire1112 Disagree! it has limited use against aircraft, true, but I much prefer it over the LMG and HMG. Besides, it's badarse. That's the only real reason that matters. That said, on maps like Firestorm, I prefer to roll with guided shots that work in tandem with ICTV or SOFLAM.
