@alterbridgebrad Well life has it's challenges and always has.

Even amongst Christians there are divisions, as I'm sure you'd agree. That's why I think it's better to accept our differences and try to be more tolerant, even if we may personally disagree with how another person chooses to live their life.

We shouldn't presume to think our beliefs are right for everyone! Thinking that way causes the problems. In the meantime we can make the best of this life for ourselves and our loved ones.

@skwijeebob1 Ah yeah absolutely, I wish for peace between everyone. As a christian all I want is to help people who are living in sin because I want people to go to heaven because I know how it changed me and made me a better person when I was a non-believer. And you have to admit that if the world had a Christian mindset then the world would be a more peaceful place because Love is the most prominent attribute of a Christian. I want peace as well, but things aren't looking good in the world.

@alterbridgebrad no need to apologize my friend! Just goes to show how easy it is for misunderstandings to occur. Yes I agree a christian mindset IS different from mine. I think it's time we ALL put these differences into perspective...

We need to find a kind of tolerance for our differences, believer and non believer. Not continually focus on who is better or more moral. It's only when we accept that differences in opinions unite us rather than divide, that we may live in peace.

@skwijeebob1 we don't linger in the same places and do the same things. We are set apart because God HAS changed us. Drug addicts have stopped drugs, alcoholics have stopped drinking, Prostitutes have stopped selling their bodies because of how God has changed them. The whole world is divided and it always will be. It's up to us to decide whether we want to do what is right or what is wrong. I am by no means saying that Christians are better, all I am saying is that we are different.

Christians are totally capable of cruelty and every other sin for that matter, but the difference is that when we do those things, we are convicted of it, and we ask God's forgiveness and the forgiveness of the person we committed it to. We ARE set apart because we don't try to do what the world does, we try to not commit sin, whereas the world doesn't see it that way and they do what they want.
