  • Ive never seen a human beat Fritz. does it happen?

  • I'm not playing against Fritz here. I'm just using Fritz as an interface to play through the game while recording the annotation.

    My opponent was on FICS.

  • "His bishop doesn't look all that hot."

  • I think we should agree to disagree. Personally I believe most chess players would agree that Fritz's analysis means very little in said position. And I also believe that most players would agree with me that Bg4 is an inaccuracy.

As I said before, his light-squared bishop becomes too powerful and any good player playing white will crush black on the kingside with a strong mating attack.

  • rofl i love how this guys talks. um after every sentence. if i was a girl i would think it was cute.

  • When I look at your games I'm reminded a little of Karpov -- Caro-Kann, and a fondness for endgames ...

  • That's a shame that you missed the queen pin at 7:40.

  • shi, slower! slower!

  • "I'm in book there, as far as the book I had in my brain" lol man I cracked up when I heard that.

    Good game.

  • I understand him just fine.

  • speek a little slower next time!! pls

  • Good annotated game. Some of the other annotated gamers on youtube don't really tell you much and are a bit boring. You kept it interesting and teaching. keep up the good work!

  • LOL, I posted that comment over a year ago. Funny!

Admittedly I don't play the Caro-Kann much. I think I may have been thinking of variations other the advanced variation of the Caro-Kann

  • I'm a long-time caro-kann player, and I definitely disagree with you jj32768..

it's rare that I agree with the analysis of not-so-strong players (such as a 1400 fics player such ecspade; no offense), but this time I do agree with him. I very often end up exchanging my light-squared B for white's N in the advance variation of the C-K, and I've had much success with that.. and have seldom been under big attacks by the way, contrary to your assumption
