what a crap... is there any reason for your luv for Pavement? "Pitchfork told us they 're gods" Rly? I saw them live. They started with room full of people. Sounded terrible, but i gave'em chance. In the end only 20% people left... Dude, this folks can't even draw bowstring (1:01)!

I can`t understand why some dudes here separate Pavement from Nirvana and similar. There are good bands and there are average bands. Some girls shine and some not.Classifications like " Indie Rock" are invented from major labels and MTV and all those puppy journalists around them to promote the business.I can`t classify Pavement, Nirvana, Sonic Youth and few other...because they are so different, style of their own, and as I like to say.."Bands with character and their own story"

@DustyAndPistolPete Nope...Matador weren't looking for acts that sounded like the big bands of that time...those were the major labels who thought that a Alt rock band could roll in big money.
