  • Surely you have great potential. Do you train some throws also? At my judo training place there are kids that easily throw me over hip or over shoulder during practice.

I was also practicing on ground with them, here I was going passively letting them to apply techniques or trying to break from their holds, so the man on video does, otherwise he can just lay over you, pressing with his weight

  • I have trained a few throws but it's not a big part of my training. I haven't studied Judo at all yet but it's on my list to do soon. The smallest guy in the video probably isn't using all of his strength.. it's hard to tell actually but he wasn't a real big guy either. I think he might have weighed around 130 or 140.. I'm truly not sure though.

  • is the adult giving 100%, if so hes a pussy. but yeh gun kid

  • Yes, he's going 100% but I like to think that my technical skills are what is getting the best of him and I'm surprisingly strong...

  • @DevastatingFighter Don't want to trip on your ego, but this guy is definitely not going 100%.

  • i know but i dont think he knows that 1

  • i want to spar you....

  • hmmm.. I sort of disagree. My experience has been that judo lacks things you need in a fight. It has technique, but that is not enough. But anyway. You seem to have a real chance at becoming a really good fighter. Just keep up the good work. And also. Keep an open mind with the techniques. If it really works, it's good. And train to achieve your own style, not to learn to do what others do. Yeah. Good luck

  • ah duuude. You missed a perfect omoplata around 1:49

  • You should learn judo also to take on such bigger men. For example shoulder throw is easy to apply on higher opponent, if you bend your knees and push your butt against his thighs he'll flip over like fly! It's important not to bend your spine just pelvis to apply throw without much strength. Then start grappling from top position.
