Accommodation Tip - Located in the heart of Essaouira's medina, the Ryad Watier is an excellent place to relax or to use as a base for exploring the town. Jean Claud, the owner, is friendly and warm. The service is excellent. The riad is very family oriented. The rooms are spacious and clean and there are many shared spaces in which to lounge. There are two roof top terraces, a dining hall, garden, library, and kitchen. They can arrange activities around town like visiting a local hamaam, playing soccer, kite surfing, and camel rides.
