That happened BEFORE 1990, before the sanctions, before the UN weapons inspectors were able to conclusively prove that he had in fact complied with the UN mandates. That being said, if you have evidence or proof, throw down and we'll see if it passes muster. All you will have are relics that Saddam didn't even know about, unless Rumsfeld finally remembered "...exactly where they are".

You do realize they DID NOT find a bunch of WMD's in Iraq, don't you? @padraicohare Sorry but we never found WMDs, except for an occasional pre-1990 shell here and there. If they had them, they would have used them in the IEDs they hit us with repeatedly. Even when we offered rewards and even with the full assistance and co-operation of millions of locals, NOT ONE WMD was found. The closest I saw was somebody brought me a bio-hazard canister (medical waste). I'm amazed at how persistently you folks refuse to admit ANY mistakes.
