this song is by Anthony Green called Dear Child (I've been dying to reach you) off of his solo album Avalon (great album in my opinion), he plays in a band called Circa Survive, I HIGHLY suggest you look them up because if you've never listened to them then you're missing out, not one album disappoints me :)
