Perpetuum Ebner Rex Deluxe Changer in action

Perpetuum Ebner, Germany introduced this "Rex" series Record Changer.
This Record Changer uses a spindle that lowers the record down about 3cm, waits for the changer to sense the size of the vinyl with the arm and then drops the record all the way down to the platter.
This changer can mix all sizes of records in any order on the spindle for playing.
After the last record is lowered on the platter and fully played, the arm goes back to start point and comes back to check the record size to be played next. Since there is no more record to be sensed it goes all the way to the spindle and then goes back to its standby position and triggers automatic shutoff.

Of all the PEs, I think this model is my favorite. Does it use rubber or metal stoppers in the spindle to prevent the whole stack from falling?

@dewey70 It has some rubber type material on 2 strips which kind of expand and hold the stack.

@mukerjea Well I have only been told what is wrong with it from the guy that worked on it. He says it does play but only on 78rpm and not 45 or 33 rpms. The rollers are missing from the trundles. I can try to take some pics if needed. Thanks

I have this exact model in my basement. It is in good condition, think it just needs a new needle. Anyone know how much it might be worth?
