Unbelievers Inability To Properly Interpret Scripture

Unbelievers are dishonest, and in fact as the bible maintains, and what we see in experience, they cannot even adequately come away with a proper interpretation of it. No wonder they make fools of themselves with building paper dragon arguments against the text of scripture.

This guy has such a sad view of the world. I often tell my Christian friends that I have seen the world through their eyes, but they have never seen it through mine, because the moment you can imagine that god does not exist, you begin to see things differently, and it is impossible to go back. A universe without god is so astonishingly beautiful, so elegantly rich, that you can't help but see the good in mankind. This guy has a book that tells him that I am judged and he is not. How sad.

@1tmoch I guarantee you that you have never understood the world as I and many others do. The world is getting better not worse, we are in a period of transition and it is difficult, but to be alive right now is such an incredible privilege. We are finally starting to understand how things work, how we got here, and where we can go. Instead of reading the same book everyday, I fill my life with many. There is no eternity to make up for a wasted life. It is now or never.. learn, give, love.

James is absolutely right,a natural man only has the power to choose to believe in a false god,most gods allow men's works to cause his forgiveness &salvation ,but whatever false religion it is,it allows the man to decide to believe it or not.The Christian God does everything backwards than the false god or gods ,He has chosen before time who will believe and saves them by His word. He actively causes their belief,while keeping them under His care sanctifying them until their glorification.

@eggplnt There IS a God and he is the epitome of moral perfection. He is HOLY and JUST, creator of all.

We have offended God by doing what is wrong in his sight. He loved us sinners so much he became fully man in the person of Jesus Christ, lived perfectly according to the law of the father and then offered himself as a willing sacrifice, taking the punishment WE deserve upon himself. That anyone who would believe in him and do the will of God should not perish, but have everlasting life.

@eggplnt I'm not saying these things to be cold or to be mean. I'm urging you to consider the REALITY of an existence without God. I'm simply attempting to paint you a fictional picture of a Godless universe.

Think about this a sec. You can be THAT naive to think that YOU yourself can be alive, walking talking and self aware, your body literally made up of dirt, yet NOTHING higher than you such as a God can exist? That YOU can come into being from non existence, but there can be no God?

@eggplnt You have absolutely NO ultimate purpose or reason for being. There is NO point to your existence. You will die and all along with you.

At one time you didn't exist and were nothing, yet here you are! Conscious and self aware. Alive! That kind of thinking doesn't even phase you or has probably never even entered into your mind. A Universe without God is void and without purpose or meaning. You have not yet experienced that in your life. However, without Christ, one day you truly will.

@eggplnt All is vanity. You will die just as everyone else and everything you ever did and everyone you ever loved will be for absolutely NOTHING. Say whatever philosophical thing you want to make yourself feel positive but the fact remains, you don't matter nor does anything you say or do IF there is no God. All your money, friends, family, positions and achievements will perish along with you and be forgotten. Eventually every impact you ever made on anyone else will die along with them too.
