@talk2cbasok Root it. Ive got a hero (CDMA) on cyanogenmod 6.1 and it runs basic live wallpapers. the more complex you get, the processor just cant take it can the background goes black. still kinda cool to watch, but doesn't really serve much of a purpose..

@talk2cbasok You probably cant. The sprint hero doesn't have a fast enough processor to run live wallpapers. ARM 6 cant handle much.

@drzbigpitbull19 No that isnt the moment

seriuosly how do i get the live wallpaper on my sprint hero...

will you post a video on how to overclock the cpu on the hero. I have one running 2.1 but it is pretty slow. does overclocking make a difference as speed wise?

@ilguider by using a kernel patch like on the link but until HTC officially release the 2.1 update and the kernel sources its nothing more than something to kill time when you are bored!! I dare say 710mhz at full wack all the time wont play nice with the battery life

@sleez0 so do u think the 600mhz to match the legend would be imaginable to have 24/7? And theres a 768 for the touch pro do u think itll be stable at that, because its a similar chip?

@ilguider 600mhz no problem and even beyond, but the only way people are running these speeds are on the old kernel, the kernel that will ship with 2.1 will need the source code from HTC made public then the patch can be applied...
