the second person is lao li the old guy that everyone accused.

the assassin killed herself b/c if she gave Hero the chip she would die when she went back. if she didnt she would have to kill herself. but if hero has the chip her boss would come after him. so she just killed herself and destroyed the chip. so that he's safe and she's safe
