While I have no sympathy for bubble buyers, I do blame this guy. He's a lying asshole. He hides behind his economic credentials and uses them for complete propaganda purposes. Oh, and when you say "many were too lazy to read," what about those that READ his book and followed his terrible advice???

Dont blame him. I dont like the guy, but no one held a gun to anyones head when they were buying a house they couldnt afford. Everything was there in black and white, and many were just too lazy to read/understand what they were getting into. A fool and their money......

I'd love to know what he's since done with all those Florida condos he supposedly owned. I'd bet the farm he was dumping em at the same time he was screaming for everyone else to buy buy buy. Anyone who understands Econ 101 could see we were in an obvious enormous housing bubble, and Lereah knew it too. He was simply LYING for a living and willfully destroying lives with those lies.
