it is a very thin line between the two..when people first meet me they think im cocky until they converse with me..some people can mistake confidence for cockyness...people need to know how to distinguish between the two though...im far from cocky...and im not cocky for talkin about myself lol jp but 4real though =}}

@karmbaby lol ok ok karm! But i sorta look at it as the same thing when somebody plays music out loud when ppl are tryin to study when they could jus easily plug their headphones in. ;) It's a folkway, everyone's greatful if u dnt obsessively tlk about ur self but nobody trips. feel me?

@NaijaAmericana yea i could definitely see it in that light. but i couldn't see me tryin to change myself in anyway to please someone else. from experience i can say that bein yourself pulls the best & sometimes the hottest kind.

Lately I've noticed that if one doesn't act cocky, ppl take it as having low self esteem. I mean I'm a confident dude that likes to just go about my biz w/o sayin much, but when it comes to the opposite sex, I've noticed that I get more play when I'm acting cocky. Perhaps there's a time and place for both?
