I don't know why are you so surprised?? It's always baffling for me. Why should we "give" clean water and "vitamins" to Africans if there is no money into it? If we build a civilization where the ultimate goal is acquiring as much wealth as possible, there is no point in saving people giving them products that won't enhance the accounts of the medical companies.
