When I first began editing images in Photoshop I quickly realized the best way to edit images was to do as much as you could on separate layers and keep everything as editable as possible. This tutorial covers how I prefer to retouch eyes and really enhancing eyes that need only minor retouching or none at all. Nice ideas but those retouched eyes look FAR too painted on and fake at the end of the vid. I'd personaly dial everything back about 50% and come to a compromise between the original and what you had, but then that is the beauty of Photoshops layers.

Yep that is the beauty of breaking everything up onto their own layers. Fully editable.

Never used Aperture, but I would assume it is possible in some way, shape, or form.
