@grimgroove observational comedy has no element of satire in it, the humour people derive from it is based on recognition from, and parallels to, the audience member's own life. It's very simplistic. In this routine, Lee satirises other comedians; making an artistic point about the content and integrity of their act. Subtle but important difference.
