The Miracle of Pharaoh in the Quran

"This day shall We save thee in the body, that thou mayest be a sign to those who come after thee! but verily, many among mankind are heedless of Our Signs!" 92.10

Every believer should have firm conviction on what Allah has mentioned in the Qur'an. And that whatever is mentioned in the Qur'an is the truth and there is not a doubt on even one letter of the Qur'an. To have the slightest amount of doubt regarding the Qur'an will render a person out of the fold of Islam (may Allah preserve our faith, Ameen). Some scholers say that it is incorrect to compare the Qur'an to historical and archeological research and judge Qur'an through their scope and understanding.

Firstly, historical data has always been tampered with and has been influenced many a times by people's emotions and understanding of history.

Secondly, historians and archeologist reject anything for which they have not found any proof. Not being able to find any 'proofs' does not negate the whole incident and render the incident false. It merely means they weren't able to discover any archeological proofs.

Thirdly, the Word of Allah is superior than any science or history. Therefore, if even some historical information or scientific and archeological fact appears contradictory to the teachings of the Qur'an, then we will hold fast to the Qur'an and leave aside all others.

Also, one should understand that the Qur'an is not a history book where dates and names of people are mentioned in detail. The Qur'an is a book of guidance for mankind in order for people to take heed and derive lessons from it so they turn towards Allah, the Almighty.

The verse from the Qur'an:

"وَجَاوَزْنَا بِبَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ الْبَحْرَ فَأَتْبَعَهُمْ فِرْعَوْنُ وَجُنُودُهُ بَغْيًا وَعَدْوًا حَتَّى إِذَا أَدْرَكَهُ الْغَرَقُ قَالَ آَمَنْتُ أَنَّهُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا الَّذِي آَمَنَتْ بِهِ بَنُو إِسْرَائِيلَ وَأَنَا مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ (90) آَلْآَنَ وَقَدْ عَصَيْتَ قَبْلُ وَكُنْتَ مِنَ الْمُفْسِدِينَ (91) فَالْيَوْمَ نُنَجِّيكَ بِبَدَنِكَ لِتَكُونَ لِمَنْ خَلْفَكَ آَيَةً وَإِنَّ كَثِيرًا مِنَ النَّاسِ عَنْ آَيَاتِنَا لَغَافِلُونَ (92) "

90. We took the Children of Israel across the sea: Pharaoh and his hosts followed them in insolence and spite. At length, when overwhelmed with the flood, he said: "I believe that there is no god except Him Whom the Children of Israel believe in: I am of those who submit (to Allah in Islam). 91. (It was said to him): "Ah now!- But a little while before, wast thou in rebellion!- and thou didst mischief (and violence)! 92. "This day shall We save thee in the body, that thou mayest be a sign to those who come after thee! but verily, many among mankind are heedless of Our Signs!"

Both the Noble Quran and the Bible agree that the pharaoh was drowned, the only difference is that in the Quran God promises to save the Pharaohs body as a sign for the future generations of mankind.

Does it says this in the Bible? Today we will perserve your body so you can be a Sign for people who come after you (Quran, 10: 90-92) You know that came true right? Pharaohs body was found well preserved just as God said in the Quran.

Ramses II was a very great pharaoh. After studying the body, he most likely died of the various infections in his body, after all he was over 90 years of age. He didn't die of 'air hunger', nuff said. This is a mummy, there are many far better preserved than this. If the quran told you bears shit in the woods, would you go making videos of a grizzly taking a squat, then calling it a holy undeniable sign? I think you would.

You want me to explain to you how this relationship evolved, i did... From the moment we split from Bacteria and Archaea we have helped each other.

What is your point. I explained that we evolved in the same pace and that we have always helped each other.
