  • Nope, the spring steel of the Power Ram is enough to get the certification to be used on coyotes.

  • ya, I just run a piece of cable through the spring of the ram and tie it off to a solid tree or fence post

  • yeah, they are quite effective, quickly kills the coyote so that you can reset the same spot over and over.

    if just setting a regular snare without the ram, all you do is use the set up you showed us with the wire that holds the snare in place?

    Yes that would work,  the only catch would be, that to snare coyotes, up here in manitoba, we have to use certified traps and snares, so we use Power Ram snares, It makes things easier to use the ones that are certified
