When our 3 yr old daughter Amy died after a 3 day illness from an undiagnosed brain tumour, this was one of the songs played at her funeral.

"May it always stay so childlike

May it never grow too old..."

Not a dry eye in the house, I assure you!

Petra was a very influential group in our church at that time. We were stationed in Keflavik, Iceland, on top of the world, and even there this amazing group was melting hearts.

@Skylez1 It's a struggle. My mom passed away on the 30th of this month last year and I was just a new christian of about 4 months. I was an alcoholic and when she passed it escalated and wanted to commit suicide. I wasn't sober for months!!!! I can't count 1 day!!! In May of this year I thought I died, ended up with a week long hangover. I told myself there's got to be a better way and I haven't had a drink since then. Scripture reading and prayer everyday has really helped me.

My older brother was a christian and he loved petra's music. He passed away of cancer in 2004. We played his favorite songs at his funeral just like he would have wanted. I am thankful that he is with the Lord and is no longer in any pain.
